什么是兽医
兽医（又名兽医学，动物医学）涉及动物疾病的研究、诊断、治疗和预防以及保护人类免遭其危害，比如通过动物食品（肉类）或由动物传染的疾病（寄生虫、狂犬病、疯牛病等等）。这门学科主要研究对象是可食用动物和家畜，另外也包括动物园饲养动物和野生动物。受过以上兽医学训练，并以此来诊疗动物的医生称为兽医或兽医师。

就业前景

移民情况
兽医专业毕业之后的职业评估机构为：澳洲兽医行业联合会Australasian Veterinary Board Council (AVBC)。
无论是澳洲本地学生还是国际学生，只要想在澳大利亚从事兽医工作，都必须在相应的州或地区申请注册。对于想通过兽医这一职业来移民澳洲的学生，必须在注册后通过AVBC的兽医职业评估。
澳洲2016-17年度的兽医配额有1000个，而目前只邀请了124个，所以小伙伴们可以踊跃申请！
兽医职业评估的要求如下：
1) 兽医学相关的学位和毕业证书和成绩单；
2) 澳洲或国外的有效的兽医注册证；
3) 雅思4个7或者OET4个B的成绩；
